2022 Fall Prospect Camp
Date
Sunday, October 9, 2022
Description
The University of Chicago Softball program will host the UChicago Fall Softball Prospect Camp – October 9, 2022 at the UChicago Softball Field on campus. Space is limited to 44 participants.
Conducted by the University of Chicago Softball Coaching Staff, the UChicago Fall Clinic is a unique opportunity for prospective student-athletes (current HS sophomores, juniors and seniors) to experience the demands of college softball in a positive and instructive environment.
The clinic will include softball drills and instruction designed to replicate the daily training environment of our current softball student-athletes, along with a competitive live game segment. Each camper will receive hitting instruction and specialized defensive instruction according to position from the camp staff.
Clinic participants will be able to meet members of the current team as they assist with the clinic and share their recruiting and collegiate softball experiences firsthand. Additionally, an optional campus tour will be available at the end of the clinic session. The coaching staff and current student-athletes will facilitate a discussion on the recruitment process overall and help the campers prepare for their own college research and decision process.
